Upstream Professionals is looking for qualified individuals with a background in consulting within the Upstream oil and gas industry.  The qualified individual will be involved in the collection of data and information, data analysis, and the development of reports and communication involved with the design, build, and deployment of business services and solutions.

 

 

 

Successful Business Consultants will have a track record of delivering high quality work.

 

Typical consulting projects include operational optimization, performance and profitability management, systems implementation and business process studies.

 

 

 

 

 

Job Title:  Oil and Gas Business Consultants

 

 

 

Salary Range:   Negotiable

 

 

 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Assessments - business problem analysis and documentation; business requirements definition

  • Data Analysis - financial and operational data collection, structuring, analysis, and reporting of findings; preparation of survey and interview instruments

  • Business Process Analysis - mapping & modeling for communication and analysis; process design and definition; metrics and measurement collection and analysis

  • Information Systems - interpreting business requirements; data mapping and modeling; developing technology specifications; vendor and options analysis

  • Client facing - support client meetings; assist in facilitating small group project and client work sessions; and support client and stakeholder interviews

  • Education - Bachelors Degree in business, management, accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, or related field

  • Required Skills - Minimal Requirements:
    • Bachelors Degree in business, , computer science, engineering, or related field
    • Possesses 3-5 years of industry and/or consulting experience
    • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Works well in teams
    • Ability to prioritize workload
    • Mature interpersonal skills

Successful Software Developers will have a track record of 5 years of experience designing and delivering high quality work.  Typical development projects include Microsoft SharePoint design and implementation, Business Intelligence Dashboards and Application Design, Integration and Delivery.

 

 

 

Job Title:   Senior Developer

 

 

 

Salary Range:    Negotiable

 

 

 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Requirements Assessment- Interviews with clients and prospects to understand and document their business requirements

  • Technology Inference Design – Ability to apply technology to business requirements and produce architectures and specifications

  • Microsoft Development Skills – Microsoft Software development knowledge and skills

  • Data Management – Upstream financial and operational data design, development and reporting

  • Business Process Analysis - mapping & modeling of oil and gas upstream business workflow and business processes

  • Education - Bachelors Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field

  • Required Skills - Minimal Requirements:
    • Bachelors Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field
    • Possesses 5 years of software development experience
    • Microsoft Software development experience – Sharepoint, SQL Reports, Application Dev.
    • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Works well in teams
    • Ability to prioritize workload

  • Entry Level Petroleum Engineers – We will train new graduates in Production Engineering and Efficiencies Optimization

  • Junior Level Petroleum Engineers – 3 years of experience as Production Engineers or optimizing operations efficiencies

  • Senior Level Petroleum Engineers – 5 years of experience as Production Engineers or optimizing operations efficiencies

  • Education - Bachelors Degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering
